For the last year and a half I have received training in the field of graphic design. The programs I use are Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. I currently work at Juxtaposition Arts in the Graphics lab as an apprentice. I am also starting to take my own client work separate from my job. The things I specialize in are concepting, t-shirt/clothing designs, logos, infographics, posters, and album covers.

FLOW '17

This is the design I created for FLOW, the North Minneapolis Arts Crawl. While designing I drew inspiration from Pop Art, specifically the artist Roy Lichtenstein. However while I was researching his art, I discovered the lack of diversity in his work. Diversity is something very important to me, and I think that America constantly doesn't represent the minority community in art. This is why I chose to create a strong black woman as the focal point in this design. There are also image elements that represent the city and Minneapolis. This design can be bought on a shirt at FLOW this summer in late July. For the exact date and more information, please visit my Future Events page.
